The Goops

The Goops they lick their fingers
The Goops they lick their knives
They spill their broth on the table cloth
They lead disgusting lives!

The Goops they talk while eating
And loud and fast they chew!
And that is why
 I'm glad that I
am not a Goop,
Are you?

In honor of our family-Dad/Grandpa wrote a new verse--just for you!

The Goops have dirt between their toes,
And goobies coming from their nose,
There's crusty sleepies in their eyes,
And filthy nails from fresh mud pies.

The Goops have lint packed in their navels
and grimy hair left all disheveled
Their bottoms stained with leaves and grass
their finger prints adorn the glass.

Then when its time to end the day
They from the bath tub run away,
They leave behind their residue,
The Goops disgust me--how 'bout you?

And Mom's version

Then when it's time to end the day
Into the bath they run to play
They leave behind their residue
Can Goops de-Goop as good as you?
