The Book of Mormon has been a great blessing to me, and I know it can be for you too. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ- it goes along with the Bible. It is a record of the people of ancient America, but it is so much more than just a history. It teaches about Jesus Christ's visit to the American continent following his resurrection, and it helps us feel His unconditional love for us. By reading The Book of Mormon, you can learn to have faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and understand what you must do to return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father after this life. By praying while you read The Book of Mormon, you can be assured of the validity and truthfulness of the words written in it, and you can receive personal guidance and direction on matters in your own life. Prayerfully reading and searching the scriptures will bring a peace and joy to your life- because reading the scriptures and acting in faith invites the ultimate Comforter- The Holy Ghost- into your life.
I have a testimony that The Book of Mormon is true, and that the prophet Joseph Smith translated it from gold plates by the power of God. I love The Book of Mormon and am grateful for what it has taught me about Christ, love, eternal families, parenting, and being a good friend and neighbor. It has brought so much happiness into my life. I promise it can for you too.
